Llanymynech Golf Club is an established course who cater for golf societies aswell as its 700 members. Such is the popularity of the course that golf societies keep coming back year after year as the course is an excellent challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens are in excellent condition all year round and we do not suffer from adverse wet weather due to us being located on a limestone plateau.
Spectacular views are provided from our elevated position and never cease to amaze new visitors to the course. We have the unique feature of having our golf course in 2 countries!! We have 15 holes located in Wales and 3 in England and on the 4th tee, you drive off in Wales and putt out in England. However, no passports are required to cross the borders.

Where else can you stand on a tee and have a 300 cliff face behind you and spectacular views leading up to Snowdon on one side and then the Shropshire plains across to Telford on the other.
Former Ryder Cup Captain, Ian Woosnam began his golfing career as a junior member at Llanymynech and still speaks fondly of the club and endorses us on the front page of our website.
We are in the list of the Top 100 Golf Courses of the World but the best way to judge us is by coming and playing the course yourself or with your golf societies. We offer competitive rates for golf societies and we would welcome the opportunity to host you and your friends to our club. We have buggies available to those golfers who feel they might not be able to cope with the undulations and we can offer excellent catering for small or large golf socieites.
